Change your choice here:

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage) works in a similar way: the data stays on your device and is not sent to our server on its own.

Touchtypely is operated from the European Union, so we follow EU rules: without your consent, we may store only what is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. For anything else, such as website analytics, we ask for your consent first (Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 on electronic communications, which implements the EU ePrivacy Directive).

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. Which cookies we use

We need essential cookies and browser storage entries to keep you signed in and to remember your results before you sign up and your choices. They do not require consent. We set analytics cookies only with your consent.

Our essential cookies are our own. We do not use any other third-party cookies. The table on this page lists each item with its purpose and how long it is kept.

If you sign in with Google, Google's own cookie rules apply on Google's pages.

3. Analytics and marketing

We measure traffic on public pages with PostHog (servers in the European Union). It starts only after you allow analytics cookies in the cookie banner. Without your consent, it does not load and stores nothing. You can withdraw consent at any time; measurement then stops and its data in your browser is deleted.

We also measure basic traffic anonymously on our own server, with no cookies, no browser storage and no stored IP address, so it does not need consent. What exactly we record is described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not use marketing cookies: we do not track you on other websites and we do not show ads. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. How to change your choice

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and it does not affect anything that happened before.

We remember your choice for 12 months, then ask again.

5. How to delete cookies

You can delete cookies and browser storage at any time in your browser settings, usually in the privacy or browsing data section. You can also block cookies there.

After deleting them, you will be signed out, your browser will forget your theme and cookie choice, and you will lose any guest results you did not move to an account. Results saved in your account stay. If you block cookies entirely, signing in will not work.
